QuickScan is a 100% on-device document scanner app: this guide shows how to install it, scan up to 20 pages, run OCR, and export a PDF on Android and iOS, with no account.
1. Install QuickScan
Download QuickScan from the App Store or Google Play (com.pikscan.quickscan). No PikScan account is required. On first launch, grant camera access to scan documents.
2. Scan multiple pages
Open the Scan screen, frame the document, and capture the first page. Tap + to add more pages — up to 20 per document. QuickScan detects edges, corrects perspective, and shows a preview before saving.
3. Extract text (OCR)
From the document preview, run OCR. Google ML Kit reads text locally on your phone. Once the app is installed, this step works offline; PikScan does not receive your images.
4. Organize in folders
Save the scan, then place it in an existing folder or create a new one from the library. Find documents in Recents or browse folders in grid or list view.
5. Export to PDF
Open the document, choose Export, select PDF (or JPG), and share the file via email, messaging, or storage of your choice. The PDF stays on the device until you share it.
