Scan without a mandatory connection
Once installed, you can scan pages, correct edges, and save PDFs or JPGs without PikScan receiving your document content. Image processing and file generation stay on the device.
On-device OCR with ML Kit
Text extraction uses Google ML Kit directly on the phone. Images are not sent to a PikScan server for OCR. This suits sensitive documents: invoices, contracts, or ID scans for personal use.
Multi-page and export
Combine up to 20 pages in one document, then export as PDF or JPG. The Recents library and folders are stored locally on the device.
What may still use the Internet
AdMob ads and Google Play updates may need a connection. Core scanning, OCR, and document storage do not depend on a PikScan cloud account.
